Hello all,

Picking up a 1990 390 EC diesel today. Seems to be in excellent condition, no problems on the survey etc., very well maintained. Looking forward to it.

Also, thanks for the invaluable insight and education I've already learned from this site. This is the first of many posts I'm sure.

I will take some pictures today or this weekend once I get her to my marina.

Thanks,
Brandon

Brandon, congrats. It's going to be a great day for you. If you are a boater, the first day of a new craft is almost as good as when your first born arrives! Once you get her back to your marina, crack a cold one, sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor!!!

Wow...1990 390 EC diesel....outstanding!!

You now have one of the best boats Sea Ray ever built.

Congratulations!! Post lots of pics...can't wait to see it.:smt038

Brandon,

That is one of the nicest examples of a 390EC that I have seen.

Enjoy it in good heath. You are certainly set now for some comfortable long range cruising....also the 390EC is great for just anchoring out close to your favorite local "Party Cove" and relaxing. The nearly 14' beam makes it a great hang out boat too.

Have fun!!

One of the top 5 boat Sea Ray ever gave us.............I owned a 390EC for 9 years and would still have her today had she been powered by 3208's instead of 7.4's.

Congratulations...........!

Brandon,
Congrats on your new boat and we now share new boat delivery dates since I will be leaving in a hour or so to get mine delivered to my new marina.

Congrats-great looking boat at a good price-lots of value there...

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Congratulation on your new boat!!!
That’s right, it’s just a great one!!! …looked at the pics…it just looks new!!! :smt038:smt038:smt038

Top Sea Ray..mmmhh ..let's start a thread :smt001
1 390EC
2 340 EC
3 52 DA
4 '80 '90 Amberjacks
5 ...?

Can we throw the 340 Sedan Bridge in there? It's a 340 EC with a bridge. Does that count? Except for that, your list looks pretty good to me. Maybe the 268 DA for #5 based on popularity?

Wide body 370EC....1995-1999 450DA..........90's 300 WE.....mid 90's 550DB...........??

On the 340DB, sorry, but no.

There was 340SF which is like an EC with a deckhouse and bridge.

Congrats. I had one for seven years. I put over 800 hours on it before selling it due to illness. It was the best Searay I ever had. But the 375 cats make it a dream boat. You will need to lose the 13" TV. That might make a good storage space. Also you will need extra padding for the matresses. They are very firm/painful.

That's a cool looking boat with some serious canvas
And is that a cathode tube chart plotter at the helm?

Congratulations and welcome to CSR.

This is the link from my broker's website with a bunch of pictures:

Let me know if the link doesn't work for some reason.

Thanks!

bw, I can see from these pics that you have Oceanair screens installed.

Could you be so gentle to take a photo of the one in the guest room??? :smt001

I would immensely appreciate as I am trying to put on mine and there's no room enough for it....:smt009

5 ...?

1. 45DA
2. 390EC
3. 37 EC Wide Beam
4. 340EC from the '80's
5. Toss up '92 42DA Diesel/ '04 & later 340DA

I'm glad the 340EC made the list, but I have to say the 390 is one of the nicest boats I've seen out of the Sea Rays. I actually looked at that boat a few weeks back while scanning the market for 390 diesels. Dockmate has a 390 with 7.4s, but the diesels are the only way to go. Congrats, the beam on that boat makes it seem like a good sized condo. We often hang out in the cockpit of our dockmate.
