PIB - Lake Erie

The one thing about PIB is you’re going to see something new every time. This was this past weekend. You just can’t make this stuff up :)

Just read through the whole thread from 2020 to now.

Seems like 2020 was a rough season for PIB….

things calmer this year so far? After about 3 years of no boat mine is about 3 weeks away from being water ready and I’m itching for Frosty’s Pizza.

Seems to be normal enough… You have to be patient though most bars and restaurants are short on staff.
 
We were there, but I'm not in that picture. We were docked near the street.
 
Well today turned around…. What an incredible day it ended up being. For some reason only big boats left the dock….. I feel like a dinghy in here at the back :) …red arrow

I was talking with the guys at Lakefront. They said you were thinking about going back there. At point of interest I found out about the water in the marina. It is full of sediment. My AC unit kept clocking up and needed to be cleaned out monthly with fresh water. And the seawater rubber impellers for the motors both went out when docked there. Was told by the repair people there they don't last any more than couple of years. Once again I found out after words due to the sediment in the marina. I am at Basshaven and the boaters there tell me the seawater impellers last over five years. And this is my second year there have not cleaned the AC water strainer yet.
