Has anyone tried Petitt's "Prop Coat Barnacle Barrier 1792"? I'm thinking of giving it a try this season and was curious if any other members have tried it. Also what are you using for cleaning your bronze propellers, basically to remove the crud that the pressure washer has left behind.

I was talking to a guy at the marina today who had a friend use it last year. He was very impressed with how easily the running gear cleaned up. Nothing seemed to stick to it. I'm definately going to try it. Mark

I used it last year and it was pretty effective. I intend on using it again this year.

Do you also coat the entire running gear (shafts, struts, rudders etc) with it as well? I have my props done with Prop Speed and am thinking of getting everything done this year or next time I need to bottom paint.
