Perfect Pass Speedometer Paddlewheel Problems

Good Day,

I have a 230 select with a 350 mag BIII. It has the perfect pass system and the external paddlewheel for the speedo. The paddle is damaged from a crab pot encounter. How do I find the part necessary to repair/replace. Is this a merc part or perfect pass? any sources? Does the speedo need to be pulled from the inside of the engine compartment or can the paddlewheel be replaced from outside???

I searched the site. Didn't find the answer... Point me too it if its been discussed.

i am guessing thats a perfect pass item, as the speedo for a b3 is through a small opening on the front of the leg of the b3, and is based on water pressure.

Try your dealer..
When I bought my 230 Select, It came with several spare paddles and even a new pin as well..

I believe if you look under your engine in the bilge there should be a black looking device whith wires coming out... Remove it and you can get to the speedo.. Beware, there are two of them.. One has the deph gauge eq.... Hope this helps...
