I would like to know of some good places to cruise to on the weekends around the Pensacola area and marina's in those areas.

I will let some of the P'cola locals address what is nearby, but you are within an easy run to Ft. Walton, Destin or SanDestin on the ICW.......... or on the outside if it is a pretty day; go out the Pensacola ship channel turn left, stay about a mile off the beach and go back in at the Destin sea bouy...... Navigation is a breeze in that area, just watch for any no wake signs. Transient docking can be tight in the Destin harbor, but there are lots of good restaurants along the north side. SanDestin is a great stop because they do have transient slips available and courtesy transportation to any number of shopping or eating locations and the newish Baytown Warf is just a short walk down the dock.
