Hi Guys,

We've been thinking of heading over to Pelee Island. I know there's a marina on with slips on the North end, but was wondering if anyone had overnighted on anchor.

It looks like almost all sides of the island have some natural shelter, but if the winds turned around it might make for a rude awakening.

Any advice?

Most people I know swim on the south end of the island. I believe it is called Fish Point. Wind needs to be from the North or Northwest. I think it is a nice sandy bottom.

Fish Point on the south side is really nice. You can get in shallow and walk ashore. Over nighting there is another matter. The winds on the lake are sure fickle. It's not very protected and I bet you'd have a restless night just thinking about that all night.
