Anyone have any luck with Peel Away paint remover on botton paint? Tim

I used it about 8 - 10 years ago on my 32 Sedan.
At the time, we were only a few years into boating and had been told to paint the bottom every year. Of course, after about 5 -6 years we had quite a build up. We applied the product and left it overnight. It started raining the next day and by time we got there, all of the Peel Away strips had peeled off. Any they took all the bottom paint with them! It was great - down to the clean white fiberglass in one day, no muss - no fuss. The only places we had a problem was where we had run out of product and strips. Those little areas had to be sanded, but otherwise it was fine.
I recommend it and the next time I need to get rid of the bottom paint, I will use it again. One waring, be sure to wear all of the protective gear they suggest. I got a few chemical burns because I failed to wear enough to cover every part of me.
