Does anyone have any ideas how I can read reviews of my 1986 300 DB in boating magazines back in that time frame? I have search google and others and have no luck. Maybe I am not using the correct "key words."

I have searched in vain for such a source but all that predates digital and few would be willing to pay the cost of digitizing such old material. I posted here about looking for old magazines and got a few responses, one member sent me a stack of 2000's magazines. So I still long for 1994-1999 magazines with the SR 270 DA in them. Frank seems to have a large supply of various old magazines but shipping costs for them to just sort through are very high. Maybe someday I'll get down his way and pick some up. MM

I am not sure which magazines would carry such a review but I have used Googles book search with good success for other items. For example, here is an article about Karl Geis a judo instructor from Black Belt Magazine from 1973. If you click on the little bars in the scroll bar to the right it will take you to where your search word was found. In this case "Karl Geis".

It's too bad that Sea Ray doesn't gather reviews and tie them to the page for each model. Other boat builders do this and you can see reviews for both current and past models right from their websites.

I have seen them (I have an '85 Dancer) but for the life of me I cannot remember where. HOWEVER, I have noticed that looking through Boattrader some of the listings will say that so and so had this to say about such and such vessel which is a copy and pasted review. Not exactally the printed review (in case you are looking for it to frame and place aboard) but the words are there none the less.
