Going to be at Palafox next weekend. First time by boat. What are some good places to eat within easy walking distance of Palafox ?

Head North when you come out of the marina. That are alt of places. The marina as a nice place to have dinner

I stayed overnight there last month. If you walk north up the main road by the marina there are a bunch of places. We ate at a beer and pizza place that was amazing. There were 50+ beers on tap.

There is an absolutely superb fine dining restaurant called Jackson's Steakhouse on the corner of Palafox and Zaragoza streets, about 2 blocks from Palafox Marina. We schedule our trips to overnight at Palafox MArina so we can eat there. Steaks are excellent and the seafood is fresh and equally as good as the steaks.

The restaurant at Palafox MArina has changed hands a number of times so I don't know its current state, but it used to be good and the view is unsurpassed.

There are any number of interesting sights within walking distance of the marina, so go exploring.......if you have time, take a taxi out to the Pensacola NAS and go thru the Naval Air Muesum. It takes most of a day and is a good bad weather alternative since most of the muesum is mostly indoors. It is well worth the time it takes.

We went last May, as planned. Had a great time. Ate at Jaco's ( Palafox marina) and also The Fish House. Did not make it to Jackson's that trip. We plan to go back next month. From Destin it is around 2 hours to get there. A fun area to visit.
