Simple question. I'm replacing the keel rollers on one of our trailers. I've never dealt with "pal" nuts before. Looks like they just pop on and off, held by friction. Any tricks to these things?

If you can not pop them off I use a dremel with a grinder disk to cut the two small tabs and they will slide right off. They just pound on to the shaft. They are pretty much a use once nut because of the tabs. The tabs will hold them on but when forced off they tend to break or bend the wrong way to hold. Make sure you get the correct size for your shafts.

OK thanks. I bought extra figuring that they were a one time only deal. The dremel is a good idea.
