Painting the helm station on a flybridge

I am about to paint the helm of my 360 ac on the flybridge.
I was wondering what paint others used. I recall some people saying they just used a Rustolleum spray can. Others experience would be greatly appreciated.

I think it would be worth your time to check out Boatworks Today on you tube. Wonderful in depth discussion there. Cliff notes paint easier, less fade....gel coat thicker, easier to blend. Both will look great after proper prep ie lots of work.

thanks will be looking at you tub to see.
I just redid all the carpeting in the boat and we painted the top deck including the aft deck hardtop etc.
Wuill haul out to do bottom paint last.
