I have a 1985 Weekender , sand color. I bought a radar arch off of a junked Weekender that is white. I need to get a paint code for 1985 sand so I can have the arch painted to match
Thanks

Both hull and arch are gel coated, not painted. If you wish to paint the arch you found, then you will need to get a professional paint store to optically scan the gelcoat on the boat and mix a paint to match it. Even then it will be hit or miss due to the gelcoat oxidation and aging on a 30 year old boat. Avoid the big box stores for reading the color and matching the paint. I have had good luck using a Sherwin Williams Industrial (not a retail store) paint store and a PPG store for matches in the past.

Or, go to a quality autobody shop and have them match. They can paint some cards which can be taped to the hull for matching in the sun and other ambient conditions.... Like Mr. Webster says the hull will be faded or off the original color due to natural aging so get your hull polished to a best condition then match.
