Outdrive removal.

hey guy's, I know I asked this question before but I allways forget, when I am pulling my alpha 1 gen 2 outdrives off my 4.3s is it port forward and starboard in reverse or the other way around. Thanks again ,Tony

The side with the propeller that turns to the left is the reverse rotation drive and it is in reverse to remove the drive. or look at the shift shoe. They will be in a straight line for drive removal

I just pulled my alpha 1 gen 2 starboard drive on Saturday for the first time and that was the drive that went in forward gear, so I am assuming for my boat that the port drive will be in reverse.

Only if you have counter rotating drives, no matter what type the shoe must be in a straight line to remove the drive
