Over the winter I've decided to put together a Takacat 300LX. with a 6 hp motor. Going this route because they are light weigh and stowable. Stumbled across Outboard motor store not The Outboard Motor Store. They claimed they sold old stock motor. Everything seemed legit until the way they handle payment and when I researched their address it was a different marina in New Jersey. I called the marina and they told me it was a scam and they were using their address. The guy that was named Peterson Lionel from Outboard Motor store accent didn't fit.
