We finally launched our new (to us) 2000 380 Aft Cabin and got her moved from Algonac Mi to our marina in Sarnia, Ontario this past weekend. We had our 97 400 DA for almost 5 years and listed her last fall. That sale was done and finished by March.

Two details I was looking for in our next boat was the cherry interior and diesels and this one had both. We are really looking forward to the extra living space on the aft cabin. The 3116 CAT’s will be quite a learning curve, coming from the Mercruiser 7.4’s. I have already noticed a big difference in maneuverability having docked her a few times.

Special thanks to Frank who provided a lot of insight and guidance with regards the diesels and making sure they got a clean bill of health.

We will be likely spending the rest of the season cleaning and detailing and fixing little items to get Plan B up to our standards.
I am having issues trying to post a couple of pictures here so I put them on Photo-Bucket

When you go to your pictures in photobucket there is a box that says "links to share your photo". Click inside the box next to IMG and it will copy the code to the clipboard. Then past in in the thread you want.

That's a nice looking boat. I love the lines of the SR bridge boats.

Nice find picking up your boat in Algonac and only having to cruise it to Sarnia. I've been to Sarnia a couple of times going from MI over to Niagara Falls. Nice country and a great place to own a boat.

That is a really nice boat!
We looked at an aft cabin too, and would have loved to have even more room, but it wouldn't have had enough clearance to fit under the Navy bridge on Bayou Grande where we dock. We still have to put our binimi and antennae down to fit under. Don't understand why they didn't make it higher in '99 when they rebuilt it . . . it's at the opening of one of the largest bayous in Pensacola.
