Original Cushion Fabric Sources?

Hi all - with the recent acquisition of a 1990 Sea Ray 260, we are making efforts to restore "FriendShip" to next-to-new condition. In keeping with the classic style of the 260, we would like to determine if it is still possible to acquire the original upholstery fabric to re-do the seat cushions and bolsters in the cuddy with the dusty-rose/blue/gray pattern that Sea Ray used at the factory that year. Any suggestions from other Sea Ray club members to source the original cushion fabric would be appreciated.

I really don't know much, but I thought Sea Ray made their own furniture, but as for who made the actual fabric, I don't know. However, Sea Ray might.

However, even if you found the same material, you need the same color. Of course, yours would have severely faded after 19 years, so I don't think the original would help. Since the colors won't match, you could just easily find any fabric that best matches the existing.

Not much help, I know...

You are out of luck. Sea Ray does not stock fabrics on boats out of production. Fabrics are fashion items and you just aren't going to find a fabric source still making or stocking a 20 year old piece of goods.

I realize you will have to discover this yourself, so start with your Sea Ray dealer, then call Sea Ray customer service and ask them.

Good luck...........
