Order parts by part number

Hello,

Short story: How and where you order parts once you found required part number in boat parts manual?

Long story: My boat - SeaRay 340DA 1999. Just bought the boat and found some simple things missed or very old and would love to renew.

I have referred to part manual and found parts I need: saloon "filler" cushion, windshield wipers arms and blades.

But where do I order those by part number?

You don't. Filler cushion will have to be made. Wiper arms and blades are available from after market suppliers. You could try to google the sea ray PN and see what pops up.

Sea Ray part numbers are typically only good through a dealer or sometimes online/ebay - but I seem to recall that there's a guy on ebay that sells SR stuff HIGHER than retail/at a dealer... so be careful.

The filler cushion won't be available anymore - other than finding a dusty one on someone's (or some random dealer's) shelf. Best bet is to just have a local upholster make it.

Parts that were NOT originally made by Sea Ray (like the wipers/etc) can be bought either through a dealer or by searching online once you know the manufacturer. In this case, I believe it was AM Equipment. Many times your local dealer, if they also have a retail store, can source the item through the aftermarket to save you some money.

I have a Sea Ray 182 and one of the catches on my middle part of the windscreen that folds into the middle section has broken. I have added photos of the ones they are including the a pic of the broken one which is circled.



Can you please let me know what the correct name is for it and where I can buy a replacement or a replacement pair?

Go to a cabinet shop or home depot they use those to hold glass in door frames with so it can be removed to clean
