orange beach boating suggestions please?

heading to orange beach in a couple of weeks. i want to take my boat and put in a marina for the week and take day trips and go to restaurants. any suggestions for a good, convenient marina and things to do and places to eat? would much appreciate ideas!

Call me I own a condo in orange beach and keep my boat at a local marina. 251-421-7100. I will give you the best info.

The wharf has a couple great places to eat and dock

I would get a slip at Sportsmans marina. They have a great restaurant on site called the Tiki. You should hit Pirates cove, Happy Harbor, Tacky Jacks (there are 2 of them and I would go to both). In the afternoon try out Cobalt. They have a nice happy hour with cheap drinks and good apps and a great view. I would hit the FloraBama too. They always have live bands playing on the beach and you can beach the boat and walk in. There are a couple new bar/restaurants at the Wharf to check out.

We are about to embark on the same thing, thinking of trailering the boat down while we are there for a week. Any must see by water suggestions? and a good place to snorkel (the other half likes to snorkel).
