opinions for gps/fish finder

I am wanting to upgrade my fish finder to one with GPS and possibly even a chart plotter. Any opinions as to what I should look at? I don't have a lot of dash space so I'm not looking for something huge. Doesn't have to have all the bells and whistles. I am moving to SW Florida in a couple weeks and would just like something that will get me from A to B without getting lost in the canals and mangroves. I try to read about the different ones and it's so much conflicting information it makes my head spin.
