Is it safe to run the engine in full up trim (NOT IN TRAILERING MODE) just the normal trim up position?

If you are in shallow at idle , wouldn't go crazy with trimming up past planning range

Yes, that is perfectly fine. That's exactly what that "limit" is there for. Now, for on/off a trailer or in shallow water it's OK to cheat a little higher as long as you keep the RPM's low and don't do it excessively.

Are you trying to "sell us" on your question? Look at the subforum you posted this in ;)

LOL...just noticed that. No, just wanted to confirm and didn't see i was in the classified. That's funny...nope, didn't tear anything up just yet.

Just remember the higher you trim up, the more torque it puts on your u-joints. Go up too far with RPMs too high and they can bind. Its extra wear and tear on the U-joints when you do this.
