So, I'm in bed with flu and my ipad... Just last week end I had some great times on the boat, and I believe it's the right time to share those memories with you!

The weather was incredibly fair, flat sea, warm water and almost no other boats around. That's the isle of Ponza in fall:

some of those buildings look like they would be very affected by just a slightly higher than normal high tide!

Not really a concern...max tide in the mediterranean is 20" :smt001

Great Pics, Thanks for sharing. Is that your normal dock or a great place you visited?

Wow those are some great pics! Look like I will be moving there! haha.

Great looking area, nice photos

Pietro, sorry you're sick, but thanks for sharing the photos. The area where you boat certainly is beautiful.

Do you routinely stern tie like that?

Pietro, Get well soon & Cool pics. .

In the 2nd pic is that SNOW ?? :smt021

Waine..that's not snow  It's white limestone rock!

What you see in my pics is the little harbour of the Isle of Ponza, 35 nm offshore from my homeport marina in Nettuno. This little island is almost deserted in winter and there are no other moorings than the pier where the ferry and the hydrofoil moor. In summer time they put down some floating piers for recreational boats.

And yes, we always go stern in....that's why we all have a passerelle. Most are hydraulic, mine is a lightweight carbon fiber one I can fold and hide behind the transom bench.
