Having your boat break down is never a good thing, especially when the problem is something you cannot fix yourself. Such was the case with mine last weekend. The problem was a strange one, and with all of the sensors and computer control and diagnostics this one remained elusive. Well it was fixed late yesterday afternoon just in time for the long weekend and the problem was the two stage fuel pump for the port engine. The second stage of the pump was not coming on when going to high RPM’s which was limiting the engine from going above 3000 RPM’s.
I own a very big “thank you” to the entire service department of MarineMax Gunpowder Cove for going the extra mile for me to get her fixed and ready to go for this weekend. They put in an effort that you normally do not find in the service field, and I would like to thank them for it.
Now I can change my boat picture back and I can go boating again!
