Looking to replace my battery charger/inverter. I have a 2001 340 Sundancer with 4 batteries. Im installing a pretty massive sound system so I'd like to get somthing to help with that while the genny is running out on the lake.

Any suggestions to what kind or brand to get??

Pro mariner makes good stuff. Charles Industries is another good manufacturer. Check out their products and give them a call to see what they would recommend.

I'm about to go slightly different.

Mine is fitted with 4 batteries, one for each motor, one for the Genny an thn the house battery.

Currently has a Pro-Tech 4 fitted which has 3 outputs. So presently the Genny is not hooked up.

The drawback with the Pro-Tech 4 from what I have looked up, is that once it senses one battery is charged it stops, it does not monitor all the batteries independently. So my house battery is not charging fully and is up for replacement.

I am going to replace the house battery with a Deep Cycle Gel. Then put a separate charger on it. The pro-tech I will then split across the two start and genny battery. I am also considering a solar panel connected purely to the house battery.
