Older Waste Tank Indicator

For those with the older SR, my waste tank indicator has 2 lights, 3/4 full and full. The plate has full on the bottom and 3/4 on top.

I have been testing the tank and macerator pump. As I am pumping out the tank the 3/4 light goes out but the full stays on and then eventually goes out. Could it be that there maybe a wire crossed in the indicator? I pulled it in the head and it is an electronic board.

Any ideas? Can the level sending unit be pulled while the tank is still mounted?

Try stopping just before the 3/4 light goes out. Give it some time and see if the Full light goes out. I'm assuming you've got floats in there - maybe the Full float is sticking? I could be totally off base, though, as I'm not familiar with the older stuff (if indeed it is different).

Thanks Dennis. Something I don't understand is SR ran the vent hose way over to the port side (tank on stbd).. Why? Why not put the vent on the same side as the tank.
