Old Standard Horizon VHF parts

I'm looking for a volume control knob for a late 1990s era Standard Horizon Nova VHF. The part number is 496C154050 but Yaesu / Standard doesn't stock it any more... they were very gracious when I called but I have a feeling they were stifling laughter that I'm keeping such an old radio in service! I do recognize the benefits of upgrading to modern electronics with DSC / AIS but it's not in the budget for this season.

Does anyone happen to have a radio from this era that they are pulling out and discarding? Or a recommendation for parts?

You don’t need AIS, but DSC is the cheapest way to save a life since the PFD. Please toss the old radio.
