I am starting to plan getting rid of the raytheon gps and chart plotter that slaves over to the radar, the charts are crap and the thing doesnt zoom in close enough. I have a couple charting program and tons of electronic charts in the laptop that I used on the old boat.
my question is what did you do with the holes left in the dash.. and where did you put a new chart plotter?
Thanks

You will either have to gel coat repair or cover the old holes with the new gear. You may want to get some thick vinyl sticky sheets and cut a nice oval or rectangular pattern and stick that over the area you intend to install the new gear. At least it would look presentable.

I have Raytheon GPS and Radar and had them upgraded by RayMarine to the latest they can and it saved me from replacing all my electronics. My charts and radar are great now.

my issue is I am too spoiled with color chartplotting.... the green screen is ok for radar.....
