Ok Michigan boaters, it's here, although it's going to be nice weather this week, it's getting cold fast in these here lands..and Seas...Winter waves are coming, some have experienced the waves of winter already. We're putting her away on the 19th of October, heated storage in Montague, it's sad... BUT we've had a great summer so Cheer up guys....Now's the time for planning the winter Mods and some of the winter work that has to be done...One good thing, we'll save on Fuel... won't we.... Here's to Winter it's coming so except it and Live strong all the way through it... I myself have lots of polishing to do and a few Bridge Mods to do... More speakers on the bridge for Waves and Wheels, along with PODS for these speakers and the Wife wants a new C120 or E120...and she always gets what she wants... ALways.. So here's to a great winter of Plowing and shoveling.

I just winterized the ol' girl this wekend - Have a due date with the storage facility at the end of the month. I have a few projects that I want to do th it over the winter, We'll see how that goes.

I hate snow - We wanted to get out for the last week for one last ride but the waves have been 6'-16' for the last week. The weather is decent but the waves were not.

Let's hope for an early spring. :)

Oldskool, are you quoting "Diff'rent Strokes"? I used to watch that here in NZ as a kid.

I feel for you guys going into winter! We've had a hard winter this year but heading into our summer now. I'll try not to rub salt by posting anything summery. LOL. It'll be summer before you know it.

I don't even want to hear it, It's summer time over there in New Zealand...Maybe I should try to trailer mine to New Zealand...Hmmmm I think the F450 can do it...

We just topped off tanks today. Added stabilizer and at 4.10/gal spent the last $500 on fuel for the year. We are still boating for another 2 weeks. Will spend tonight anchored out, reading and enjoying a movie. It's nice to listen to the road reports in the morning knowing that commuting is a thing of the past. Anyone done the snow train in the UP of Michigan before? We are thinking of doing that this winter.

SBW1 we want to do the snow train in the UP but isn't it in Canada as well, If you find out info on it send it to me, My wife would love to go on that train, I here it's beautiful....

She is put away in the pole barn. Need to put on a winter polish and will be ready for spring. Shucks I have not shoveled snow yet.

It leaves from Sault Ste Marie in Ontario and travels about 114 miles north into the wilderness of Canada. It is supposed to have first class service and fantastic views. If you google it, there are lots of information about it.

Had Sea Ray Flue yesterday and tanks ended down near 30 gallons each. Water was 1 foot or less. Sunset amazing. Today another day w/ no clouds and light wind. They are saying 79 & sunny for Friday. w/ 1-2" waves South West. Sounds like a beach day. I have already alerted co-workers that Flue will be in full force for Friday. Hoping to get up the Milwaukee River for either lunch or Dinner.

Going down to 33 degrees tonight in Central PA and my 270 is still in the water.......brrrrrrrr. 78 on Sunday is forcasted, Mike.

88 degrees and sunny here! :smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038:smt038

I can say I've posted on a board that includes a picture of Gary Coleman! Proof winter is not far off.

We'll be rafting out with Sea Ray friends this weekend. The weather will be mid to high 70's.

Ha! It will be 81 on Saturday at southern Lake Michigan shores, and 1 ft or less on the Lake. Perfect for........................driving to put the boat away for the winter. I think I will wipe the tears away now.

Sad to say but, I'm writing up work orders for staff to start minor winterization on our buildings. Better done when it is nice out then crap like last week's low that got stuck over us. Our pool at home when up over 4 inches. Real tough to fucus when I know that I'm goint to have Sea Ray flue tomorrow.

Didn't we talk to you enough last season about boasting your perfect weather, rubbing our noses in the fact that our's sucks? We don't need to have a another 'come to Jesus' meeting with you, do we?

I apologize unreservedly. I offer a complete and utter retraction.

Yeah HUMPH, take your "I have nice boating weather every freakin day" and shove it where the Sun doesn't shine.... or does shine in your case! :)
