I have 200 gallons in board. 100 gallons is about 1 yr old and 100 gallons is four months old. Any tips on what product to use to ensure the gas doesn't cause a detenation issue?
Thank you!

I hold 300 gallons and each fall I fill the tanks full and run the boat in the spring/summer 7 to 9 months later. I have never had any problems. Being doing this since 2001.

You could add some octane booster but its probablly fine.

I'd use octane booster but it's probably not necessary. I've used gas 2 years old before with no problems. As the gas gets older it gets harder to ignite not easier so older gas should be less likely to cause knocking than fresh gas of the same octane rating. This is just my personal opinion from my own experiences.

Octane decreases with age so that can cause detonation problems but if the gas isn't ancient, it should be OK to use as is.

You could add a feul stabilizer like phase guard or biobor eb,this will keep the ethanol from seperating and causing a layer of water in your tank .It wont harm your engine either.
