Probably a stupid question but just want to make sure its ok.

I dont have a stand or the time to make one right now and i have to get this bravo 1 sanded and painted today so i can splash the boat saturday for the fireworks.

Yes it can be put on its side - no issues of fluid leaking since there is a spring loaded "ball" type shut-off valve that prevents leakage as soon as the drive is removed.

You might want to lay it on a blanket to avoid damaging the paint!

Thanks ..... much appreciated.
Just finished painting it.
