These are mid $30s + $60/yr garageowners dues. I'll have power which I'm really excited about. These are simply Garages, no water, no sewer, 3 walls 14' high roll up door, cement floor and power.
I currently pay a RV/Boat storage yard $130/Mo, with no power but its' covered and a secure yard.
This payment will be around $200/mo.

Each Unit Is 14'x36' With 14' Tall Doors.
The doors are wall to wall so I figure take off 3"-4" on both side for the door track. So 13'-6" or so.

The point of this is that I'll have shelter and power to simply not allow it to freeze and since our area yes does freeze at times it's not that harsh, allowing us to boat year 'round. I can put her to bed, kick on the heater and not worry about winterizing and then use it next weekend very easily.

Is there is another row of storage units in front of your door? Make sure you can swing out enough for the fit. Take her over before you sign!
I built a custom house with a mega storage basement. We pushed the driveway as far out as it could go in front of the doors. It was still almost impossible to swing a tandom axle trailer around the corner enough to get it in the garage. I also had imagined hooking my boat to a 4x4-wheeler and moving it around any time I wanted. The 4-wheeler wouldn't push the tandom axles sideways on the rough concrete...lesson learned.

I have had rental units like that before and it sure is nice to go visit your toys in the winter.

You probably have already checked but make sure who owns the land in front of your door and what they can do with it. I would want a guarantee that you will always have easy access. I am also a Realtor.

Thanks Chuck! All the Snapper you can catch...unfortunately you can't keep any. The season ended last week and someone must have told the fish. You can't get to the Grouper for all the Snapper. Hope you guys are well.

There's a nice rental unit development here that has large garage doors, bathroom and a small office. They haven't stayed occupied as well as the owner had hoped but he's still considering building some up scale ones. In different parts of the country I understand they are very popular and are "Home away from homes" for guys. Big screen TV's, couches and room for lots of toys.

Todd, I would seriously look at trying to bring the boat in bow first if possible. Makes for easier work on the boat for access from the outdrive and you can move the storage up front and can then pack more in the back wall area...

I can't think of a way I can do that. I'll need to back the boat in. I'll still have lot's of room for storage I think

Small airplane owners use Gas powered small engine tow abouts to hall their airplanes into the hanger. Maybe? Check them out. Al W.

Guys, it's a garage. Unless it opens at both ends or is long enough to get at tow vehicle in first, how's he gonna get it in bow first on a trailer? And even if it was long enough, than he'd have plenty of room to work on the drive from the back of the garage. I used to move my first boat into a garage by hand or with a lawn tractor. It's also pretty easy to rotate a single axle trailer...

but it weighed in at 1900 lbs. Todd's boat is probably over 6000lbs dry and you cannot walk a boat around that's that heavy by hand. My Crownline 262 was 6200 lbs and the tongue weight, when properly set, was over 300 lbs. Even if the tractor could handle it, it's very hard to pivot a tandem axle trailer. The only thing moving this baby was a V8. Also, note the front mounted trailer hitch. I highly recommend it to anyone who trailers a larger boat.

(by the way, the garage pictured here is where Lil'Krissy II slept during the winters. I took her OFF the trailer (painstaking process) and had to take the anchor roller off to close the door).
