Oil Spill update from locals - Orange Beach/Gulf Shores Alabama

We are supposed to be headed to Orange Beach/Gulf Shores Alabama for a beach vacation from June 26th to July 3rd. Not knowing the area very well, I was wondering if some of the locals from this area could provide me some links to sites that provide good info on the oil spill and the impact in this local area.

Any information you could share would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some photos I took yesterday (6-13-2010) between Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. It is getting bad. There is a lot of boom all around the waters, tractors and many workers on the beaches.
