Two brand new engines, both turning 2400 RPM at 78% load, each "sipping" :smt101 19.8 GPH, and running at the same temperature and the same on every other of the gagillion specs available on the Sytem View, except.... oil pressure. Port is at 58, starboard is at 49. Both are dead on the mark for oil level. Cause for concern?

No..........but confirm the running oil pressure on the engine mounted gauges which are mechanical.

Now get the dealer to swap the oil pressure sending units and see if the differential switches engines.

Then get them to order a new sending unit. If they balk, remind them how big a check you wrote them and ask to see in their warranty documentation where a 16% variance in oil pressure is considered normal. (perhaps 5%; but not 16% ).

If your luck is like mine, they should just order 3 of them so you can find one that agrees with the mechanical gauges!
