got oil in my bilge oil level is low
what is the likely cause???

Hey hokie, mine turned out to be a cracked timing chain cover, seemed to be a common problem

And is it motor oil - black/brown or gear lube - blue/green?

Any recent work? I had a leak from a valve cover once. After looking for a year, I found it by accident.
