oil dip stick?

newbie here, just bought a 200 br and before i use it would like to check the oil level, can't find a dip stick! looked everywhere.
it's a 1992 4.3lx 4 barrel in a 200 br with rear bench seat. now i'm a chevy guy had 5 s-10's and blazers with 4.3's is this different being a mercruser?

sorry for a dumb question but i'm stumped!

Mine is at the front of the engine on the rh side of center looking aft. It's quite high up and has a yellow knob. If you cant see it there try following it from the sump, It attaches to the r/h side looking aft.
