official bs cabin fever thread

200 hours? Repower? And 4800? Seems high I only get 4300. My best cruise is 3400~ doing 26 or so. Do u have the horizons or _31o hp

No! PO never used it! Everything is pristine on it. I have the 380 HP and I'm not positive on the actual mph at the 3200. Im usually just going about a mile to our favorite beach at about 1800 rpm.

And on the canvas, I'm missing the the center and starboard visor pieces. PO couldn't find them after going thru a divorce and moving, etc. and of course this was a year Sea Ray was making them in house at Merritt Islamd. No patterns exist and I'm having one hell of a time finding anyone to custom make. I've rigged together some clear heavy vinyl and Velcro so I can at least get out on the sunny winter days.

Second enough with this Damn snow already! We only get a few months out of the year but then again if we lived in warm weather we northerners would probably not use our boats as much and have nothing to look forward while we try to replenish our pockets from all the fuel, repairs, dock fees, toys, beer wine liquor, and all other unnesicary expenses That we acquire during the winter months.

I am done with the snow, but it is not done with me as we are having the second storm in a week, first ice, and now 7+ inches of snow, the water is frozen under my lift, I just paid the slip fee for the year, I have been buying crap like crazy to make repairs/upgrades, I now have a recoring project on the foredeck , in addition to all of the other winter projects I have on my list because someone at SeaRay thought it was cute to make the deck under the windlass look like a hot crossed bun, rather than putting the caulk where it would do any good, that I can't even work on yet because it isn't warm enough, so I sit in my house either working, or drinking, or both watching the snow/sleet/freezing rain build up outside and all I can do is work/drink, so my alcohol bill is through the roof, my electric bill is through the roof, and my foredeck has a rather large portion missing from the underside that I can do nothing with until spring actually shows up to warm things up enough to epoxy without an amine blush, so I can lay this thing up in a day, and have the epoxy cross link properly for a good strong chemical bond so the repair doesn't give way in a couple of years causing me to start from scratch and do it all over again, and the only money I am not spending is the fuel money which is what I want to be spending because it means I would be out on the boat, enjoying the sun and, at least relative, warmth to get to a place where I could drop anchor, let my wife go sun herself on the foredeck, while I have a beer, enjoying the view on the foredeck and puttering on the boat, but this is not the case, so I am paying all this money for a boat that I can't use that is about to have more snow fall on it (luckily it is shrink wrapped with high posts so I could work on it so the sides are very steep and the snow tends to slide right off leaving an icy berm around the boat where it has piled up and been subjected to more snow/sleet/freezing rain that has solidified it) and there is not squat I can do about it other than to hope that this weekend's forecast of highs in the 40's holds so I can get some non-temperature sensitive projects done on the boat like switching the instruments and switches into new panels from FP Marine that I had custom done (no extra charge, gotta love Ken) that I couldn't do when it was 10 degrees out because that is just too cold, so yes I am cranky and will probably pull the .308 out and clean it so I can go hunt the groundhog who caused all of these problems in the first place because spring really needs to get here because I am having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad winter.

Also, you forgot the period at the end of the second paragraph. :smt043

Is my boat too small to post on this thread? I have a Honda Generator! Will that help?

Only if the generator exhaust is routed into the engine compartment to keep it warmer than 42.37562874 degrees, as 42.37562873 degrees is just not good enough! And that is not in Celsius you Aussie PITA!

Sorry, I forgot the purpose of the thread. It's a let 'er rip, get out of your system so we can talk boats thread.

Hey I'm feeling harangued :smt089, so your boat is bigger than mine, so what. I get SR Living and you don't....hows that. Now take this baby porcupine and shove it where the sun don't shine asshat.

Do i need to start a poll to see where to put it. Woody already told me were to put it :)

I am not sure you could actually move the thread to where Woody suggested, but please feel free to attempt the procedure.

Wtf are you guys taking about?

They teach you to never ask a question that you don't already know the answer to in law school. And frankly, you REALLY don't want to know, or Chuck might have to move the thread to the Electronics Forum. :smt021

X,you said you recieved Searay Living magazine.Do you read it or just look at the pictures?

Isn't that the same thing? Not exactly a scholarly journal there. . . Just sayin' (and I did say it out loud when I typed it).

I have 2 sets one for winter (terrible plastic) one for summer (perfect plastic) mine got wrecked in Sandy and the previous owner had them replaced. It was a direct order. Told them what boat and they shipped it. But I can't think of the name if the company for the life of me. ..ill find the receipts. Gimme a little bit

Me entire canvas was from great lake skippers.our model is no longer on the web site but next time I go down to my boat ill take as picture of the tag on the canvas and forward the info to you. Maybe you can call and they will still have it on file. If not maybe ill think about giving up my winter set for ya cuz I think your cute:smt115

Thank you. That was nearly an hour of writing and rewriting, inspired by the opening of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
