Official 390DA Thread

This is the same boat as the 06-08 40 SunDancer, correct? A few questions, a few for sale have the extended swim platform. I’m assuming these are factory and hydraulic lift, not something easily added, or have people added these after market? What maintenance is required, do we need to yearly pull the boat out and service the lift? Second, how big is the smaller stateroom? Trying to compare that room to my 320. Bigger, smaller, same?
Thanks for the help! We have a bigger slip, now I need a bigger boat!

doe anyone have a source for replacement switches in the cabin? i think the switch is bad that folds the salon tv down from the ceiling. thanks!

Have you tried Flounder Pounder? Think it may just be a simple Carling momentary switch. Grainger would have them too.

I saw all exterior switches like helm switches on there, I’m gonna call them when they open today thanks

can anyone explain how to use the engine syncro on 07 dancer. there are some buttons on the helm for bumping the rpms up and down, not sure how to use that whole system. thanks

At any throttle position press the Sync switch on. Then advance the port throttle to full. I do that to ensure I remember the Sync is engaged. Both engines are synchronized and the Starboard throttle controls the RPM.
On long trips I have noticed that the Sync saves considerable fuel.

I’m interested in upgrading raymarine electronics screen, am I able to still use existing radar and autopilot?

I just added an Axiom to my system. I had 2 E120 MFDs and removed one for the Axiom. I kept 1 E120 because the radar was not digital which is needed for the new Raymarine MFDs. The autopilot will track with the new Axiom but you can not control it from the new screen. I just set the autopilot from its control and then it will follow the route on the new Axiom.
You will need a new radar antenna if you are using one screen and your radar antenna is not digital.

Wow thanks for this info, exactly what I was looking for

Did the exact same thing. I did get a gateway so I could see engine data on the new Axiom 12+ RV I installed though. I also connect my radio via NMEA 2000, and my AP via a NMEA 0183 converter. Still have the E120 on the left and the older analog RADAR.

Wow ok that’s prob the route I’m going to go as well, u can see Cummins engine data or do u have mercruisers?

I had the same problem with my TV. Turns out the switch marked Satellite TV on the right side of DC panel needed to be on. The TV remote switch then functioned as it should. Have you checked various switches on panel before concluding it is the TV remote switch?

No I haven’t had a chance to go through it thoroughly, was gonna test power on the incoming side of the switch but I will check that panel switch first thanks for the info

Can anyone tell me what zincs to buy for trim tabs and shafts? Thanks Cummins, so that may make a difference on shaft diameter
