Have any of you upgraded the horns in the factory anchor locker? Mine are barely audible over the engines.

They are pretty loud if your in front of the boat. Sound is projected out from under the bow. Nice design I think. Hard to hear from the cockpit, even with motors not running.

One of mine must be broken then, because it's not really audible over another boat's engines, even in front of my boat. I've stood on the dock in front of the boat and it's pitiful.

Still working towards completing how we'd like our boat... this last year, removed the ability to use DirectTV and last week, finally pulled the 'boob' off the hardtop...one less place for spiders to web, now to the fiberglass work to fill the holes and make her good. If anyone would like this, PM me.

Have you checked the horn air hose connections in your anchor locker?

In regards to batteries does it matter whether they are group 27 or 31? I found in the manual that in one place it states group 27 and in another area, it states group 31.

Bringing this back to life. ;) I was actually on mine yesterday. I had decided to use 303 graphene on the bow areas in between the nonskid last fall. Of course, I got it into the nonskid. And of course, it left a grey stain because it was in all the nooks and crannies. So I spent a couple of hours scrubbing and of course stripping my original work away. Oh well. By the way, the water is really down. If it doesn't come up this spring, I won't be able to float the boat at the dock. A little concerned.

Bummer, that created a lot of extra work For you. I have a blue hull and I was thinking of only using the graphene on the blue hull part. What are your thoughts on that?

Bow in? I think we are likely in same place considering to bow in this year.. also was part of our rationale to buy a small center console … to check out the lake before we took the big gal out.

This was our project we have a small vibration, so … shafts measured came out ‘perfect’, cutlass bearing is good, decided to pull props and get them reconditioned. Won the award at Sassy where we store her on the most people required to take off port prop… I am thinking they have never been off. Feedback is they were not so bad, prevailing thinking is the vibration is an attribute of the tunnels in the hull with respect to where the props are… seems plausible / I can understand the physics. I’ve been on one other 390 which felt similar albeit a bit less that was a regular 8.1 vs ours as HOs. Others have small vibration at the stern?

I did the graphine on my blue hull after it was moved indoors last fall. Happy with the look right now. We'll see how it holds up. Bottom paint this spring.

Last resort as I have a 35' dock. Might be a pain to board. Talked with Jeff this morning and they are monitoring the lake level and look into dredging if necessary
