The unit doesn't move up and down, the lens inside the unit moves instead. As for only moving to the right, You may have a dead spot on the switch, or a stripped gear. I had to replace some gears in mine a few years back, it comes a part pretty easy.

Anyone ever replace the VHF antenna? Mine started to flare and chip so I want to replace it. Big job? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks
 
Does anyone know what would cause the button on the bathroom socket to pop immediately as I turn on port systems? Everything that is usually plugged in is plugged in. I have even tried unplugging the tv and resetting the button on the bathroom socket and as soon as I turn port systems on it pops again. Any ideas
 
Could simply be the ground fault plug needs to be replaced. I had to replace one on my 290.
Unplug everything and see if it blows. If it does replace the plug.
 
Yes, the only ground fault plug is the one in the bathroom.
 
That GFCI plug probably protects all the outlets on that side, but definitely protects the one in the storage locker next to the cockpit fridge. If it pops, see if any of the others are dead as well.

They are all are fused through that one ground fault. I've tripped it enough to know.
 
Yes everything is unplugged and I reset the outlet in the head with the port systems turned to off! As soon as the port systems is turned on i can hear it pop immediately! I am going to unscrew it tomorrow and look into it.
 
Ice maker is also on that system

Anyone know how much the rudders add to the published SR spec of 12'7" for keel to arch? The SR drawing shows them adding to this height but not how much and the transporter needs to know.

Are the rudders difficult to remove and reinstall after a transport? Any video or instruction links for this? Thanks.

You might try plugging a continuity checker into the outlet with power off. If the reading is low ohms, something is on or shorted. Then, go disconnect / turn stuff off and see if ohms reading goes up. Sounds like something is shorted or maybe corroded across power terminals.
 
2001 380 da. U-line ice maker not working. Think it may be Gfci's. Anybody know location?

Thanks. Unfortunately that fixed my tv issue but ice maker still not working. Need to find a replacement I guess. Any suggestions?

The ice maker is on the AC port fuse in your panel. does the motor attempt to start?
 
I don't hear anything but when I reach in and touch the ice maker it feels hot. The inside of the freezer is not cold at all. Walls feel warm. Worked before winter put away.
