Official 370 Sundancer thread

Okay, so there is a small vent cover on the hull right near the bow of our boats that is either for the anchor locker or horn, not sure which. Mine is cracked and in need of replacement. Anybody have any idea where a guy could get a new one of those? I haven't had much luck in finding such a thing. Any help would be more than appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Hell Denmark!
Would you happen to have a better picture of that gorgeous looking wet bar you have? I can barely make out the wood and we are going to remodel ours soon and have been loking at a lot of ideas. Any other pics would be great.
Thanks
Bill

The new 370 Venture. Still no real testing from anyone other than Sea Ray though.

Oh, I need to post up the "post delivery pics" of my 370. Fortunately, I don't have many projects to complete that aren't easy. I've replaced the stereo, speakers, spark plugs,a light bulb, windlass innards and anchor line. Other than that, she's been a real peach. I think I'll need some fiberglass work on the anchor locker access and I need to tighten the packing nut (?) on the starboard shaft. I'm still reading on this forum but here she is in the water with a friend.

I'm really having a great summer! I grew up on this lake when my parents had a houseboat. I'm still a bit nervous about spending the night on the hook as every time I've even considered it, we've had a great storm overnight. That has been few and far between but maybe next year I'll get up the nerve to risk a prop or two and stay out all night.

Has anyone installed AC/Heat in the cockpit? Going with a camper style aft curtain and thinking of throwing this unit under the sink storage compartment.

My 1994 370 EC has cockpit heat and air. It is mounted under the captain's seat. Overall, we like it, although here in the south the heat load overcomes the A/C during the day. It is really nice in the evening and early morning. More importantly, the heat is nice on winter days. Again, here int he south temps tend to be milder than in your area, so we can use the boat on a 50 degree day and be very comfy inside.

Hey folks,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I have sold my 370. Priority has gone from spending family time at the shore, to teenagers with their own cars, jobs, college, and (not ready for this) saving for weddings.
While I was not a heavy poster to this site, I was a heavy reader, and cannot express my gratitude to all of the knowledgeable people that make this the premiere site for Sea Ray (and especially 370) owners.
I do have a spare set of props that I will be listing under the classifieds.

Best wishes and safe travels to you all!

-Al

Sorry to see you go Al. Make sure you "lurk" and keep us updated on that wedding thing!

Mark

Al,

We are wishing you all the best. I fear we are standing on the edge of a similar decision within a couple of years. Like you, I rarely post but read and learn so much from this forum. Safe journey and as Mark said, keep us up to speed on those wedding plans.
