Anchor light.

So I am adding an M1 KVH system in the center of the radar arch. The only other hardware on the arch is a Sirius sat (very low profile) stock FM antenna and the VHF antenna mounted on the starboard. Does anyone know how high my anchor light needs to be and where I should mount it so not to interrupt satellite reception? Don't really want to go off the port side unless I have to as it could be a slight incomberenece when moving from the cockpit to forward of boat.
Thank you for any input you may have.

Hi Guys,

just noticed the other day that my carpet just below the draws in the front v-bert was wet, only on the left side, I know that I ran my AC unit the other day but, we had also rain the next day, so not sure what cause that! Some friends told me that maybe my AC drain could be cloged and the pan is over filling. Any suggestions??

Thanks!

Regs say the light has to be highest point on the boat to be seen all around. It will not affect the reception, I had one on my 370. It was a dual mount, Seaview, and it had a light bar that came out the back and went behind and above the sat dome. I actually have the same now on my 460, also no reception problems

After my misfortune with my 89 340 im looking at a 1995 370. The canvas is gone completely but all the piping is there. What year did they start with factory replacement canvas? Would 95 be available or would it need to be made?

I have a '98 that needed replacement canvas and I just went to my canvas shop. The replacement parts for the factory pieces are indistinguishable from factory. Same material, same pattern on the original hardware. The add on parts we put on the back to form our 'screen porch' zip onto the factory pieces.

I'm about to order a seaview mount for my boat. How is the light bar held in place? I see there is a hole in the tower but no explanation about mounting the light bar.

Thanks.

I just spoke with Great Lakes Boat Tops today. They don't have the patterns for the 95, it has to be custom made.

My canvas guy just started on mine. Quote is for 5K for the two piece top, new eisenglass up front and the 3 rear curtains. The new camper will be an additional 2k when he's done. Camper includes eisenglass with screened "windows". Plus, he's making full screens to go around the sides from camper down to match the screens we have that replace the eisenglass up front.

Just so you have an idea...

I was quoted $ 3,800 for the two piece top, sloped camper back and a cockpit cover. Eisenglass up front is good. No screens included.

Just for some food for thought or ideas, here's AMFM3 with it's current screening package up. Screens replace eisenglass from the windshield to the bottom of the front canvas. They also replace the back curtains. They're great at dock or anchor, keeping bugs out and a certain amount of the sun's UV rays to keep it a bit cooler in the cockpit.

The screens are awesome...wow does that look nice...can't beat that when the bugs come out at dusk!

Thanks...we really like them. That's why we're having Doug make the same for when the camper is up. I have to say the configuration on the 370s with the short rear roof isn't adequate when the sun is out full force. It seems there's no where to go for shade late in the afternoon.

I'll be sure to post pics of the new canvas when it's done.

One of my vent covers cracked and a piece fell off, does anybody know where I can get one?

no longer available from sea ray.

Having the screens with the camper top is a great combo - I know, I have them! My dock mates refer to it as "The Screen Porch". Not only does it keep the no-see-ums out, but it also cuts down on the sun just enough to keep things cool. Great idea doing the screens at the windshield. Might be the next addition to my canvas.

Good job.

Thanks Gene. Feel free to grab photos from my Photobucket page for the site! Gotta change the Right Here Right Now name to AMFM!

ebay. We had to get one last year and found it on ebay brand new. I think we paid $35.00 for it. I just checked and it was purchased from searayman13. He still has them, small and medium.
