Official 370 Sundancer thread

Thank you so much for the quick responses! I was able to locate the fuse and that was the problem...I just needed a little help to find out where those buggers were located! Odd that it was a 5 amp fuse, should it be a 10 amp fuse?

Again, thank you so much!

Hey Guys & Gals,

My port fuel gauge has died. I believe the problem is in the sending unit but the tank seems to be behind the engine compartment bulkhead. Can anyone advise on exactly where it's located and how to get to it electrical connection. I'm thinking it may be under the sink compartment or the ice maker compartment.

The starboard tank is right there out in the open by the A/C cooling pump and strainer.

goodmorning Does anybody know where the engine room light switch is located on a 93 370 sd. I traced the wires to the harness as far as I could but no switch ? Thanks Cort

New question. I know this has been posted before, but I cannot find it. We are looking to replace the two shore power sockets that are on the port side side of our boat. My husband went down to the boat yesterday and all the screw do is turn. Can some one tell me if there are nut attached to the screws and if there is how to we get to them (behind the microway or the electrical panel)?

phil_p,

I had to replace the port sending unit last year. You can take it out from the tank, but you will bend it up removing it. The new one has to go in straight. The freezer/ice maker had to come out. A hole is drilled above the sending unit, so that the old one can be removed and the new one put in. A deck plate was then installed to cover the hole and the freezer put back.

Yes there is a nut on the backside, I unscrewed the 120 v electrical panel to get access to the back of the shore power connectors

Hello everyone, quick topic change. I am looking to mount a flat screen TV on the aft bulkhead in front of the back cabin, and did (I think) a pretty thorough search on here. I was looking at Angel Anne's project on page 45 of this thread and am looking to do the same thing, and sent a PM.

How do you get access to the backside of that bulkhead for mounting the TV bracket? Does anyone know if there is a power supply back there, and if not, how do I get power to that area? I guess I have the same question for routing the cable/co-ax to the same location.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you in advance,

Bryan - Shea's Lounge

Yatchmaster, how did you run the wires????

I drilled through the bulkhead right behind the TV into the enclosed part of the helm. I put the blue ray player in the first cabinet perpendicular to the TV. Wiring from the helm to this cabinet is fairly easy. I pulled power from the starboard side of the aft cabin electrical outlet and ran it to the helm.

A rocker switch on the dash somewhere should be labeled "Bilge Lights".

bilge lights controlled on my 1994 370 EC, rocker switch on the dash.

Thanks Allen .Ill look again bu tthe only thing I see is the push to reset breaker. You wouldnt happen to have a picture of your dash by any chance? Im would guess the 94 and 93 models are similar. Thank you Allen, cort

No photo handy. Maybe I can take one tomorrow and post it. Its in the line of rocker switches along the bottom of the dash, next to the cockpit light switch as I recall.

Allen I think there might be a difference . Mine has toggle switches, but there is a breaker Im gonna have to trace the wires back from there. I will put my findings up on here. Thanks buddy
