Official 370 Sundancer thread

Something else to consider when doing new canvas is to raise the front canvas up a couple inches. If you look at the 2nd pic I posted you can see the front canvas runs parallel with the bottom of the windshield, the rail and the side of the boat, rather then running down hill like it does from the factory. Just extend the two short poles a couple inches, a small change but it worked for me.

Sea ray mark,

Did I read right on your picture, sold your boat?
Hope you keep tabs on the thread, are you thinking of another boat?

Marty

Marty, yes I sold my 370. I currently have an offer in on a 48 Viking sport fish so I might be changing teams. I plan to hang around here since I started this thread and I know a lot about this model so I can probably still offer some help to others. Mark

Hi Everone,

cold and rainy in SD today, so only a shrt ride on my 370. I have a quick one today. Front speakers in V birth not working. Stereo installer says probably no speakers in place as no resistance ot his meter. I didnt want to pull the panels off to look if someone has a quick answer. Is it possible there were wires run, but no speakers?

Tom

Check the fader setting. On my 370 stereo (Clarion M5170) the V berth speakers are connected to the radio's front channel and the cabin speakers are connected to the radio's rear channel. The amp powers the cockpit speakers and the subwoofer and are not affected by the fader setting at all.

checked the fader, nothing. The weird part is the installer said no resistance, so probably no speakers. I was hoping that someone knew a trick. I also bought the boat as a repo, so no sub either. I replaced that and wired all sound to the head unit down below. I couldn't see having two seperate head units on one boat, so the head unit below controls channel/source and speakers below and the amp controls cockpit four speakers and sub.

I'm looking to replace the dash panels on my 1996, 370. I've talked with "Vector LED" who quoted $400.00, and "Tecnographic Inc." who quoted $831.00. Anyone have an opinion?
Thanks,
Dave Harrington

I used Vector and was very happy with the quality of work. I didn't get led's as they were not available at the time. I paid 400 for a 2000 340 Sundancer.

I hired vector to do the job

I paid 550 for my 97 370. he is supposed to get them out next week. you can call me at 562-457-8151 to see how it goes

Scott is definately busy. Ordered mine for my '96 370 Da last week. I ordered the LED's and and new rocker switch covers.

Anyone know where I could get a vent cover for the anchor locker vents. The vent is located just back from the nose of the boat on the starboard side. It covers two vent holes. It is not the stainless clamshell drain. Thanks for the help.

Can anyone tell me What sparkplugs are required for my 7.4L M.P.I. Bluewater engines?
also what the gap is suppose to be?

hey are not quite sure what you mean. I just wanted to show some pictures of my beloved Sundancer it have made some improvements in recent years. I'm going again this winter, with improvements and renovations

If your asking what I mean, I was trying to figure out what you meant. I see you posted what appeared to be a link to a boat for sale listed in another language. If so this is not the place, there is a very inexpensive listing section for boats for sale. If not, I for one, had no idea what you were posting. If you were showing your boat and it's upgrades that's great but please post, explain and show the pics! We (I) am always interested in 370 mods, I am anxious to see/understand what you have done. Thanks!
