Official 370 Sundancer thread

For you 370 sundancers. Do you know the description to the interior vinyl. Is a real light brown or beige color? The ceiling and interior trim is of this color.

Completed installation of a Samsung 32" LED.

Wiring will be next.

Yachtmaster, nice! That's exactly what I want to do. Can you give details? TV model and why? Mount? how are you going to run the wire?

I don't know the model number but it's and LED TV which is much thinner than an LCD. I used a standard tilt wall mount like you'd use at home. I mounted it through the bulkhead and had to shim the top out with washers about 1/4". I went with the Samsung because it had the best sound for a 32" TV. I may never hook it up to the stereo so this was important to me. Picture is awesome. After posting the pic I realized I should have turned the damn thing on.

I think this is the TV I got but will check to make sure, http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung...HDTV/2127213.p?skuId=2127213&id=1218310409991

This is the mount. For $ 20.00 it was hard to beat.

I'm going to run the wires directly through the bulkhead behind the TV.

Thank you guys for this thread. I'm new to CSR and Sea Ray ownership. I recently picked up a 1993 370 Sundancer at auction, kinda by accident :smt021. I'll be hauling it out in the next couple of weeks for a bottom job, new cutlass bearings, clean out through-hulls, compound & wax topsides, etc... Then into minor repairs leaky port lights & hatches, engine tune up, and some cosmetics such as tearing out the carpet and replacing with teak & holly linoleum flooring, replace headliner, bulkhead upholstery & soft goods. Then the fun stuff - put in a TV (I guess whatever was there was stolen), and install an electronics package (also probably stolen). We're at the start of our cool season,(I live in S.E. Florida), and look forward to cruising the near Bahamas with my Wife . I've read the bulk of this thread over the last few days, and it has been hugely informative. I'll plan on sharing my progress with you all, and I'll try to take lots of pictures as I tackle this project. All the best! -Josh

Congrats, I look forward to reading about it.

Hi everyone,

I am trying ot upgrade my canvas to a camper kit, and would like to post a new thread asking for pics of others and advice, but for the life of me can't find a way to post new thread.

Any help would be appreciated. I find the info here invaluable

Scroll to the top of the page and click on the 'forum' tab.

Then scroll down and pick a sub-forum where you want to post... probably 'sport yachts/yachts' maybe?

Then after you enter the sub-forum, click on the 'post new thread' tab at the top.

Do a search (just kidding)............love it when someone replies with that.

This is what I had done to mine:

Very nice and thanks

I am thinking that I will be better off waiting and redoing it all at once as opposed to doing the non camper part and then adding on

Thanks again

I redid mine all at once, but kept the proportions of the original canvas with the idea that I could take the parts and put them up or down as desired. There are times that I really appreciate taking the top down in parts or leaving certain other parts up.

Hello guys, I have enjoyed reading this thread and have to say thanks to everyone for the wealth of information that has been shared. My wife and I just took delivery of our 1996 370 Dancer. It made the trip from Northern New York to Northern Michigan this week and is now set up on blocks in the shop for a long winter of upgrading and detailing. We outgrew our Formula 31PC and look forward to all the amentities the 370 offers.

Thanks Gene for the reply. I am the guy in San Diego you called after you got stuck for a trial.

I appreciated the call and your work here to help us enjoy our Sea rays more.

Tom

Sea ray mark,

Did I read right on your picture, sold your boat?
Hope you keep tabs on the thread, are you thinking of another boat?
