Official 370 Sundancer thread

So I took a ride the other day to check on my boat like all good Sea Ray owners do and I noticed something strange on my exterior walk around inspection. On the port side of the boat there are three thru hull fittings grouped together on the side of the boat. There're about in the middle of the boat directly below where the shore power connections are and about 12" above the boot stripe. I think the one in the center is the shower discharge but I don't remember what the other two are. The problem is the one that's furtherest aft was clogged with slush. I tried to dig it out but it goes in pretty deep. It seems as though a small amount of water is coming out of this fitting and freezing up and I need to figure out why. Does anyone know what this is connected to? I was thinking about it on the way home and was wondering if it was connected to the bilge pump in the storage compartment in the floor where the shower sump is. Still can't image where the water could be coming from but I need to get back down there to solve this problem. If anyone knows what this thru hull is for I'd appreciate some help. Thanks, Mark

I'm heading to the boat now, but if memory serves, 1 is the galley sink, one is the sump pump from the shower drain and A/C condensate drains, and the third is for the Head sink.

Mine only has two at that location?? What is up with that?

Sorry for the black streaks...we had just taken possession of this boat and that was something that was taken care of right away. This was our maiden voyage and I can only thank the mother-in-law for taking such a great picture!

370 Dancer, if you can figure out what the furthest aft of the three is connected to let me know. It's hard for me to figure out with everything being winterized. Thanks, Mark

I'm not certian but I think maybe the single one that's forward of the two together on your boat is just grouped all together on mine. Nice looking boat, is that canvas black? Looks sharp:thumbsup:. Mark

I was just thinking the same thing. Sharp boat. Mine always gets those streaks by the end of the year.

Thanks for the nice words! Yes, the canvas is black...it is one of the things that drew us to this boat...it just looked a bit different and dressed it up a bit.

Hello fellow 370 dancers,

New to site, traded my 21' bowrider in and purchased 1995 37' sundancer last month, very clean well cared for. She sits wrapped up for her winter nap. When spring hits I'll send some pics. Think this is a great site, learned alot from the forum. Happy holidays.

Marty, welcome to the club. I'm sure you'll enjoy the 370 once the snow clears. They don't handle to well in ice and snow. I think the rudders are too small. Mark

Marty,
Welcome to the site. I am new to it also. We have a 370 just purchased in the Fall and are chomping at the bit for spring. This is a very good forum with lots of helpful Info.
Thanks for all the Info fellow 370 owners.

It seems like every model has an "official thread" except for the 370 DA. What an awesome boat! Not to big, not to small, moves okay with gas motors. What's not to like? Any 370 owners with me on this? I'd like to hear from you guys. With a few changes I made to my boat (camper canvas, flat screen TV, & custom bar) my cockpit area is an incredible place to hang out with friends, have a few drinks, or a cup of coffee in the morning. I'm pretty happy I accidently found this boat. What do you think? Mark
Mark I have the exact boat. I'd like to see how you installed the flat screens. I can be reached at rrw319@yahoo.com.

When you say the exact same boat, do you mean one with the maple interior? Outside of a '97 I saw, a '98 that showed up on eBay, Mark's and mine are the only maple interior boats I am aware of.

If you have one too, send some pictures to add to www.370sundancer.com and welcome to the thread. If not, send some pictures for the site and welcome to the thread!

Go ahead, rub it in. We can take it. The snow is probably up to my transom drain plug.:smt089Mark
