Official 320 Dancer Thread

Thanks for the info. Problem with socket makes sense. Appears the same prong on the relay switch shows signs of shorting out each time I had to replace. Other responding seem to agree.

Something to consider is if your socket is bad, there may me nothing wrong with the relay. I did the "trick" as outlined in one of those posts of putting a little aluminum foil in the socket of the prong that looked bad. Sure enough I could hear the pump come on and the motor would start.

Hello all I am looking at a 320 with 5.0 with Bravo 3 drives. WE boat in Freshwater lake Erie and theirs quite a bit of chop the weather and lake changes dramatically. Or should I kep shopping for a 350 Mag?

Salt water??

Replaced fuel pump relay socket. Motor turns over but fuel pump doesn't engage. Smart Craft active alarm reports Fault 151. Fuel Pumb Relay Ckt. Can't find the reference for this fault. Anyone have items how to deal with this problem. If not the socket, is the next possible solution wiring harrnest?

With Bravo IIIs the boat should be similar to a v-Drive 350 Mag 320. But it will have a little more top end. But it really doesn't matter on a 32' boat.

I have the same boat, for 10 seasons now. It's been good to me, power is fine even with a full load. I use on long Island sound.

Smokeio, thanks for the link to the supplier. Got socket, connectors and relay switch for under $20. After revisiting, found that I had reverse a couple of the pink wires. Glad to report fuel pump is engaging and engine is starting smoothly. Great appreciate your help.

What kind of oil (weight and brand) do you guys with 350 MAG's use? Changing the oil myself this season.......i think.

I use Mercruiser Synthetic Blend since new. That is what was recommended and just don't have a reason to switch.

I bought an 04 with 350 Mags V drives .

St Somewhere ll is kept in salt water. Has internal cooling system, but raw water for manifold and risers. Have fresh water cooling systems which I use regularly, but is there additional methods/additives that should be use periodically to reduce the sail build up?

Got the answer from friends st West Marine.
