Official 320 Dancer Thread

Just bought a 2007 320. So far, so... Okay. The trip home is still not complete. Weather held me up (Florida Gulf coast) for 2 days, so I came home, left the boat with the captain. He proceeded to take it to St Pete on Wednesday, only to bend a prop trying to leave Marina after fueling up and it 3as low tide. Waiting for prop to be fixed, and the I will hopefully take her home Saturday. Engines are running great, generator ran for a day (starts, but not pumping water, so it shuts Down), found a leak in port light, (trying to find gasket to replace), etc. no questions just yet...

Are you sure it is the port light that is leaking? I assume you mean the circular skylights. I had a leak, but it was actually coming from the sun pad railing on the foredeck. The water was running to that spot and coming down by the skylight.

Can someone answer this? How long is the vberth mattress and what are the dimensions of the aft mattress when converted to a bed? Thanks.

Hi All:
Does anyone out there know the easiest way to remove the TV and sliding tracking it sits on so I can do some modifications behind it. Most of those slider tracks either lift up to remove them, or have a tab you push to get it to slide out for removal. I can't find either. Any ideas would be helpful.
Thx

Nice boat Todd. I just bought the same boat but without the hull paint in Ft. Myers a couple of weeks ago. Brought it up in the storm and got an old crabtrap line caught in the props and had to limp home. Everything is fine now. Will be taking it to a yard to have it hauled for some preventative maintenance and wash n wax. Enjoy your new boat, maybe I'll see you out on the water, we boat out of TI.

Skolbe, how did you remove the sun pad railing to fix the leak? Did you have to remove the cabin headliner to get at it from below? One of mine looks like it is coming off the deck and I am concerned about water getting in.

Are there supposed to be dimensions here?

No. I was going to make a smarts ass comment about how this question would be OK in February, when the OP's boat was wrapped up, but this being in season, he could take a tape measure to his boat this weekend.

But discretion made me delete it.

Ok, I was hoping someone had some dimensions. :(

V-berth is approx. 70" long and aft berth is approx. 72" by 40" usable area.

No problem:thumbsup:

St. Somewhere is 2006 Sundancer 320. V- drive, twin 6.2 engines. Owned her for one year. Have experience ongoing problems with the starting system on the starboard engine. Symptom of problem, fuel pump relay switch fails. Have replace 4 in the past year. Mercruiser service tech, replaced first failure but cannot explain what is causing the problem.

Anyone having the same problem?

Look closely at the relay socket. I thought I had a bad relay but it turned out the socket had a bad connector. Next thing is to look closely at the wiring harness. Search and you'll see numerous reports of shorted wiring harnesses.

I've seen the socket problem as well. I was able to buy a replacement socket with pigtail to solve the affliction.
Found it and identical relays (Bosch if I remember) at Oreilley Auto parts.

My dock neighbor had the same issue. Once he replaced the socket it was resolved.
