Official 320 Dancer Thread

Wow! Looks awesome. If only I had the time. It's a real pita they didn't make the bed just a littttttlee bigger.

I agree! I have wondered why they made those bolsters in the 320 so big that is covers lots of usable mattress space. I had a custom mattress made that is tempurpedic, wider and much longer because they were able to make the bottom portion fit within the mattress/platform frame, but then it rises over the edge and forward and to the sides., so it works for me and my wife, but still...

Still trying to diognose my windlass problem where the helm switch is not working,
Can someone help me find where the windlass control module is?

Thanks!

I purchased a home in Cape Coral, FL and I am contemplating converting my 320 to a closed cooled system for when I move it down to Florida. In getting quotes I had a marina service person advise me that I have to change the ECM's on both engines to convert them "otherwise the engines will not run right"? From what I understand the ECM's are the brain of a fuel-injection system. It controls the fuel and airflow as well as the engine timing and spark curve. Why would the ECM's need to be changed to convert to a closed cooling system? Or was he trying to jack the cost of converting the engines? Can anyone provide me guidance on this, so I am not wasting hard earned money on something that does not have to be replaced. I thank all of you for your input and guidance on this matter.

THE screw under the light mounting (top down!) was the culprit. HUBS Ot the jigsaw out & we had to chew it up before we found it. Just before getting DYNAMITE!

I found a couple of post on this 320 thread thru searching "bolster" ~ the pictures were great as I know it MUST BE POSSIBLE, but the narrative gave more info on removing the port/starboard sides (which I have been able to do), but didn't really address anything special he had to do with the front/center one. THANK YOU! Any insight would be so valuable. I am at the point of dynamite but that might sink our boat!

Has anyone had to replace the little plastic pieces for the curtain between the main birth and the galley? I leaned against the curtain by accident and couple snapped off the track.

if your curtain track is like mine you might try these....if you find all of the pieces that came off they can easily be bent with needle nose pliers and put back on the track....when we bought our boat several of the rollers for the aft cabin curtain had to be replaced....

Christo, just search that link he gave you. They will have the one you need. I got replacements for mine there, as well as for the shower curtain track and they also made me shower curtain replacements.

Does anyone know the model number of the fresh water pump for an 2002 320, mine cycles non stop and boat is wrapped I would like to purchase one so when I unwrap I can replace it thanks for any help

If your boat is wrapped, did you forget to shut off the main power switch before you winterized the boat? Batteries should have been disconnected also. The water pump will continue to cycle if there is no water in the holding tank.

I'm talking about it cycling when I'm using it, not during the winter

If it is cycling you may have a small water leak in your system. Check fittings everywhere you can. Try isolating the pump and see if it still cycles.

Anyone run into this issue? I have a small water leak in the aft cabin of our 2002 320. Under the seat where the supply lines come out I'm guessing for the head I seem to build up a small amount of water in the storage area. This is something i have been chasing since purchasing the boat. I have had no running water in the boat since winterizing and can't find any wet lines by touch or camera snake run behind opening for lines. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue, I found that the water was coming in through the window in the head leaking behind the medicine cabinets. This happened every time there was a heavy rain. I found the the window did not have any type of gasket or sealer, to fix I put a heavy bead of 4200 caulk around the outside of the hole cut in the fiberglass then reinstalled the window and cleaned up any excess the may have squeezed out of outside of the window frame.
Good Luck !

Funny, had the exact same issue and fix. The other portholes were well caulked, but the one in the head had zero sealant.
