Official 320 Dancer Thread

Can you share where you got your replacement props and how much they cost?

I was lucky and bought my props from ebay for $500.00 from a guy in Florida that had them on a sr 330. I new they would fit the saft (1.5") but guessed that the performance was that good. They are available from many sources so shop around. To get a full desciption ckeck out the michigan wheel site. Bad news is they listed for about $2000.00 a set.

PS mine are nibral and have since added a .75 cup witch makes the hole shot big, big differance. From the factory I had 19x19 and 19x18.5 whwn I went down a inch in pitch the extra blade makes up for the load I am still turning 5000rpm at wot. The 4 blades also make a noticable difference in smoothness.

Here is a quick one for the 320 crowd: Do screens come standard on the cabin windows? My boat has none. Strange.

Same here, our bag was stuffed and they were shoved right smack in th middle of it. Now come up with a screen for the cabin door and I hink you could sell quite a few on this board.Mike

my leak was from when the boat was new my leak was from the rail that runs along the top of the cabin right next the fix port light.

Thanks for the various comments. The deck rail may be an option - but I've made a deal with the dealer to find it this winter (warranty) plus keep indoors - heated until spring. I have some other small warranty thngs as well - should be good all the way around. I don't think it's a window - the deck rail was mentioned by the dealer as well.

Hey Stan...there was another member(skolbe..I think) that did that....he had snaps installed on the steps and used cockpit carpet for the steps. He has a 320DA...maybe he will chime if he sees this. I think he might have posted some pictures.

This is in my boat. It is the same as the cockpit carpet. It works well for the dog to get down the steps and not fall. Our dog at the time was pretty old.

Not there. I'll probably have to order some new ones. Thanks.
Just a thought. Did you look in the "secret" storage compartment in your aft seating area? The flip down one hidden behind the cushion on the starboard side? That's where mine were hidden in the 300DA. Worth a shot.

Didn't know there was such a thing. I'll check it out, thanks.

Service manuals for 350 Mag

I'd like to have a service manual for the 350 mag engines on my boat but I see a number of options out there.

I notice the Mecury sells a catch-all manual (#31) that covers the small block engines for a wide range of years. I also notice that Seloc sells a manual. Any recommendations?

Has any one remove the cabin rug and then installed either a synthtic wood, sheet product or any thing else other than rug?

I have an '07 320 da and I do not have a bow thruster and a stern thruster; I have two questions:

- I would like to add a bow thruster, can it be done and how much would it cost? Because you would be drilling into the hull, would be I be opening myself up to water leaks?

- I have v drive inboards, do I need a stern thruster?

I watched a company from Florida come up and install a bow thruster in a 340. It can be done. They basically take a giant hole saw and line everything up and start drilling. The boat is designed to have a bow thruster. So, can't see any issues with leaking if installed properly.

Kinda curious why you want one. It is a pricey add-on. The boat is pretty easy to handle other than extreme wind.

I have seen it done as well on a new 330 sold at our Marina. I do have to agree with skolbe, why do you feel you need one?

We boat on the Columbia river in Portland and the currents are strong which makes docking very difficult; I test drove a Mainship trawler that had a bow thruster and it was so easy to dock; Do you have a bow thruster on your '06 320? Do you need a stern thruster? By the way, your hull color of red looks great. Was that done from the factory?
