This baby is docked in Burnham Harbor Chicago. Biggest yacht I ever saw in transient slip there. She’s a beauty, 240’ with a helo pad and I’m sure all the amenities.

That's a big great lakes yacht.
We were moored near Eclipse in St Barth's while on a Silver Seas cruise. I took this picture as we were coming into the harbor

Interesting. The 2023 cruise is a longer one and has some more interesting ports of call. The Georgian Bay leg should be interesting for people although with the draft of that ship and knowing the waters they are going to be in, I think I should be ready to rescue passengers after they run aground!

Yep, but that captain won’t have local knowledge. For those of you not familiar with that 30,000 islands area of Georgian Bay, this is what it looks like. That blue is million year old granite, not sand.

In terms of things to see and do ashore (and even see from the ship)? Yeah, without a doubt, I definitely think Alpena is a stinker stop.
