Oceanair shade replacement

Hi everyone!

I apologize if this is covered somewhere, but I searched and didn't find it.

Our shades in our Oceanair, shade one side, screen the other, are stained. I can'r seem to clean them and am wondering if anyone has replaced the shade.

I don't have an answer to your question but you're right around the corner from the best canvas guy in the PNW: Carol's Custom Canvas. Give Gordon a call at 503-289-3530. I'm sure he'll be able to tell you how to clean it and can replace it if that's the way you decide to go.

Tell him Mike said "Hi". We're bringing our boat down to him in March to have a whole new canvas and eisenglass done on the fly bridge.

We replaced all of ours last year. They unscrew from the hatch frame. It was a remove and replace project.

Be prepared. An new OEM replacement from Ocean Air does not come cheap!

Not sure where they came from. North Shore Marina did the work. I just looked at the screen a few minutes ago. Four screws secure it. One at each corner.
